It's a God awful small affair
To the girl with the mousy hair
But her mummy is yelling, "No!"
And her daddy has told her to go
But her friend is nowhere to be seen
Now she walks through her sunken dream
To the seats with the clearest view
And she's hooked to the silver screen
But the film is a saddening bore
For she's lived it ten times or more
She could spit in the eyes of fools
As they ask her to focus on
Sailors
Fighting in the dance hall
Oh man!
Look at those cavemen go
It's the freakiest show
Take a look at the lawman
Beating up the wrong guy
Oh man!
Wonder if he'll ever know
He's in the best selling show
Is there life on Mars?
It's on America's tortured brow
That Mickey Mouse has grown up a cow
Now the workers have struck for fame
'Cause Lennon's on sale again
See the mice in their million hordes
From Ibiza to the Norfolk Broads
Rule Britannia is out of bounds
To my mother, my dog, and clowns
But the film is a saddening bore
'Cause I wrote it ten times or more
It's about to be writ again
As I ask you to focus on
Sailors
Fighting in the dance hall
Oh man!
Look at those cavemen go
It's the freakiest show
Take a look at the lawman
Beating up the wrong guy
Oh man!
Wonder if he'll ever know
He's in the best selling show
Is there life on Mars?

Latest AACS crack 'beyond revocation'
The Register gives us the latest DRM gem:
"The key can be extracted after de-soldering the HD DVD drive's firmware chip, reading its contents, and then reconnecting it. The approach bypasses the encryption performed by the Device Keys, so revoking these keys as applied by the WinDVD update. Although the latest approach involves voided warranties and potential solder burns, Ars Technica adds that the ruse takes hackers one step closer to using software to achieve the same ends."
You Can't Keep HD-DVD Locked Down
For those of you with a life you might not have heard that an AACS encryption key - the encryption protecting HD-DVD discs - has been discovered. The MPAA are sending cease and desist letters to sites that are sharing the key, and people don't like it. "How can you 'own' a number and say nobody else can display it?" (Answer: That's the DMCA for you.)
Digg.com received a takedown notice and found themselves messing with the double edged sword of staying within the law and keeping their users happy. Digg even went down for a period of time as rebellious users crapflooded the site with thousands of stories and comments containing the now-infamous "09 F9"... hex number. Site moderators fought to keep things under control but couldn't fight the
This also brought out a lot of creativeness too. Have a look at these Photoshopped images created by users and collected by Wired as an example. There's even a song!
